About the survey
The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce Quarterly Business Confidence Survey - brought to you in association with The Survey Company - allows us to take a regular detailed snapshot of the Wellington Economy.
With a database of over 4,500 businesses in Wellington city and beyond, company participation in the survey enables the Chamber to monitor business sentiment and intentions. Respondents are asked about their employment and investment intentions; their expectations of the economy’s performance and their own business situation; and what the main issues affecting their businesses are. This provides a useful tool for tracking how the economy is moving.
The Chamber also surveys members to ensure that it is fully aware of views or topical issues affecting the region. This allows it to take action and seek to influence policies with the mandate our business constituency.
No other organisation has the reach and cover of the Chamber of Commerce, operating in New Zealand and abroad for over 150 years.
